The scientific advisory board consisting of historians, the Federal Monuments Office and representatives of the Jewish Community will ensure that the Halacha, the religious law of the Jewish faith, as well as scientific and monument protection aspects are taken into account during the planned restoration work. <\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Nazis, war, weather and decades of neglect have left their mark. After years of struggle, a coalition of rescuers has been established. We see it as our cultural responsibility to preserve this historical jewel for posterity. The Republic of Austria and the City of Vienna are doing their part. The association &#8220;Save the Jewish Cemetery W\u00e4hring&#8221; would like to raise the rest.
