Jewish Cemetery Vienna Währing

The Jewish Cemetery in Währing is a unique reminder of the culture, art, economy and society of Vienna during the Biedermeier period. Ground-breaking developments were underway during the years the cemetery was in use (1784-1879), and their influence can clearly be seen today in the character of the city, the region and, indeed, the entire country.

We invite you to support the association with a donation, 100% of which will be used for the restoration of the cemetery and its gravestones.

Donations to our association are tax-deductible.

We offer guided tours of the cemetery once a month.

Registration is required, the cost is € 8,- per adult person.

March 8
April 12
May 10

Further dates on all guided tour days until September. Men are asked to wear headgear. Entering the area is at your own risk.

The aim of the association is to support the necessary renovation measures and to set up an exhibition space with regular guided tours to raise public awareness of this important place in Vienna.
